Materials

Main Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon raw honey Use plain honey, not flavored syrup.
  • 1 teaspoon aloe vera gel Use simple gel or fresh aloe; ensure it's clear and clean.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a tiny bowl or shot glass, mix the honey and aloe vera gel until it forms a glossy gel.
  • If the mixture separates, stir again. Adjust texture by adding more honey for thickness or more aloe for less stickiness.

Application

  • After brushing your teeth, pat your lips dry and apply a generous layer of the mask.
  • Ensure it covers the lip line, especially in areas that tend to dry out.
  • Avoid drinking water immediately after application; if necessary, use a straw and reapply if needed.

Exfoliation (Optional)

  • Before applying the mask, gently exfoliate your lips using a warm damp washcloth for 10 to 15 seconds or massage a tiny bit of honey on the lips, then rinse.

Notes

Use this mask 3 to 5 nights a week for dry lips, then 1 to 2 nights a week for maintenance. Apply a morning lip balm with SPF after rinsing off the mask. Avoid if allergic to any ingredients or if lips are bleeding.
